Daisy Dame dress / Juicy Couture bracelet / Michael Kors watch / Urban OG sandals
Photos by Ryan Kim (@miknayr)

So I realized I don't have much orange in my closet. Actually, I don't think I have any orange in my closet. But this lovely dress is the second item I picked from Sydney's shop, Daisy Dame. I love the mixture of prints and colors on this, and the body of it is great. I've been feeling pretty insecure about my body lately, so I've been wearing more loose-fitting pieces. I also love the tiny slits on the sides. Little details on a simple garment always catch my attention. I paired this with my favorite sandals as of lately. I got from Santee Alley for only $25, but you can find them in the link above. Go check out Daisy Dame for more!

Daisy Dame crop top / Forever 21 shorts / Lola Shoetique heels
Photos by Ryan Kim (@miknayr)

So a little while ago, I was contacted by Sydney, owner of DaisyDame.com. It's an online boutique with some of the cutest merchandise! She's such a young little mogul and just starting out her online business. She wanted to do a collaboration and had me pick out a few items from her shop and style them with pieces from my own closet. The first item that really caught my eye was this lavender crochet crop top. Like I mentioned in a previous post, I've been really into anything lavender/lilac. I love the cutout details in this. It's showing tiny bits of skin without being too sexy. I paired it with these textured shorts from Forever 21 and some simple heels from Lola Shoetique. I'm loving this look cause it's soft and girly. Be sure to check out Daisy Dame for more cute goodies!

Among The Prime 5 panel / Now That's Legit Jumper / Vibrant M.I.U. pencil skirt / Asos sandals

Finally get to write about San Fran. It was an awesome trip over all. I feel like we did so much in the two and a half days we spent there. The ride there was brutal. I purchased Mega Bus tickets for $10 each way. Super cheap! Only it took 7 hours to get there. But, whatever. It was cheap and that's all that matters hah. We got there last Thursday afternoon. Checked into the cutest little boutique hotel called The Good Hotel. It's eco-friendly, decently priced and located in SOMA. We ate A LOT. Stopped at Mission Cheese, Pakwan, Shorty Goldstein's, The House, Tartine, Bi-Rite, Philz Coffee, Trick Dog, San Tung, Golden Gate Bakery, and the farmer's market at the Ferry Building. Also stopped by a few bars, but I don't remember the names. Got to see some of my friends that moved up there and my aunt Annie who is a major foodie. One of the days I got to meet up with blogger Crissy. She brought her boyfriend, Dante, along. They both are apart of Flawless Victory Productions. We got to have drinks and chat for a while. They are such a sweet couple and their story is so amazing. I got to know them in a short bit of time and really enjoyed it. We spontaneously planned an impromptu shoot for the next day. Here is one of the sets we shot. Photos were shot by their buddy Phuong who is also a part of the FV team. Loved working with all three of them and I can't wait until they come down to LA next week so we can hang again! Check out their blog here and their instagram here.

Crissy and I put this look together. The pullover and sandals were hers. The 5 panel and skirt were mine. I'm obsessed with this sweater by Now That's Legit. I specifically asked her to bring it so I could shoot in it. It's amazing! It's a combination of all the cartoons I watched as a kid. Rugrats, Catdog, Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory just to name a few. It's so nostalgic and fun. Anything that brings me back to my childhood is an automatic like for me. I paired it with this denim skirt by Vibrant M.I.U. Since the sweater was large and bulky, I tied it up to give it a cropped look and paired it with a slimming pencil skirt. These cute chunky sandals are by Vagabond via Asos and my 5 panel is by Among the Prime.

Shopcade x flamcis

WOW. I can't believe three weeks have passed since my last post. My schedule has been kinda crazy lately. I'm going through some work transitions and haven't had any time to shoot any new content. I wanted to write about the blogger brunch I attended this past Saturday. It was hosted by Shopcade. For those of you who don't know, Shopcade is a personal shopping app. To put it simply, it's similar to Instagram to where you can upload an outfit pic and similar to Pinterest to where you can create boards or "lists". You can like, want, share, and even shop your favorite looks or products all in one place. They even have special deals with certain brands and designers. It's super fun and makes it convenient for us fashion addicts to do all our trend stalking in one place. Anyway, I've become an LA correspondent for Shopcade and I'm super excited to start using this app more.

The brunch was really fun. I invited Ellen and Hieu, both of whom I met through Instagram. I never thought I'd be the type to meet people on the internet but I've been hanging out with them more lately and they are two of the raddest girls I've ever met! Anyway, I carpooled with Hieu. We had mimosas in our hands within a minute of arriving (off to a good start). Shortly after, we were approached by so many different people. I have to admit, at first I was a little overwhelmed. This was my first blogger event and I was kind of nervous, but I got to meet and talk to so many people in such a short amount of time. I got interviewed by Chanelle from The Penelope Times and got to chat with Judy from Vogue Villain. I also got a chance to meet Hoon, the creative director of Shopcade and the person who invited me to the brunch! After that, brunch was served. Hieu, Ellen, and I ate and had to dip because all three of us had to be in Newport for the MYVL shoot. I was pretty bummed we had to take off so early, but had such an awesome time over all.

That following Monday, I met up with Hoon, Judy, and Chanelle at Lemonade in Larchmont to have lunch. It's been so much fun getting to connect with people outside of my circle. Getting to meet new people and hear their stories was the cherry on top of a great weekend. Here are some photos from the blogger brunch and Monday's lunch (taken with my crappy cell phone camera).

In other news, I'm no longer going to Coachella. D; But I am going to SF! Some personal stuff happened and my boyfriend and I decided not to go anymore. I'll be visiting my best friend who just moved up there and doing lots of eating! It'll be a nice little getaway for us. We are definitely due  for one. Also, my hair is now magenta. Signing off with a selfie.

LuLu*s crop top / TJ Maxx skirt / Lola Shoetique sandals / Mod4rn Trend jewelry
Photos by John Garduno

Happy hump day. I've been obsessed with anything lilac/lavender lately, especially since I dyed my hair. Here's another spring outfit I put together with this cute lilac crop top from LuLu*s. I paired it with this white skater skirt I found at TJ Maxx for $13! (I linked a similar skirt above) The sandals I got from Santee Alley but if you're not from the LA area, you can get them online in the link above. I love how girly I feel in this outfit and it would be perfect for a date! And by the way, how perfect is the lighting in these photos? John really knows how and where to catch the reflection of natural light. Anyway, I hope you guys are having a good week so far. I got invited to Dripped tonight so I'm pretty excited to attend and meet some new people. Til next time, xoxo.

LuLu*s dress & shoes / Karmaloop clutch / Mod4rn Trend accessories
Photos by John Garduno

I'm so ready for spring. I've been ready, actually. I really don't know how to dress for cold weather, so LA has been perfect for me lately. I met up with John on Sunday to shoot some of the stuff I got from LuLu*s! They sent me this perfect little pastel number and these strappy nude heels. I paired it with the usual accessories from Jessica's shop, Mod4rn Trend, and this clutch I got as a gift a few years ago. I believe it was from Karmaloop, but I searched it online and it's from a brand called Imoshion. It was such a nice day. The weather was gorgeous and John is such a pleasure to work with. He showed me this new wall that was painted in the arts district. At first, I thought the colors would clash, but we took some awesome shots and we both loved how it turned out. Thanks John and LuLu*s!

MYVL crop top / Unif grail skirt / Sunglass Spot sunnies
Photos by Kimly Mean

I've always been into the goth look. It's so dark and eerie, but it can look so cool at the same time. Ever since I dyed my hair purple, I've been more ballsy with my style. I also love how my purple looks on all black outfits. I'm wearing this crop top by MYVL. It involves a few of my favorite things. The movie Mean Girls, Wednesday Addams, and the color black! I paired it with this amazing skirt by Unif. I was lusting over it for a long while and finally got it on sale from Urban Outfitters. I paired it with this men's fedora I got from Santee Alley, an amazing pair of floral sunglasses from Sunglass Spot (they're only $5!), and Forever 21 cut-out wedges.
