I recently decided that sometimes I play it too safe.

I want to be a little more adventurous with my style and I feel like most days I always stick to the same sort of pieces I feel comfortable with. Like a crop top and a skirt or a dress without layering. I stumbled upon this embroidered vest from Nasty Gal and fell instant noodle in love with it. Definitely the sort of statement piece I was missing in my closet. It's something a little different than anything I have and goes boldly over any simple look. In this case, over a crisp white frayed dress, also from Nasty Gal. I worked in my accessories adding this new bolo necklace from Stinnys and some killer booties from Zooji, which I have been wearing everywhere. Overall, I'm loving this look and excited to see what else I can create with this vest.
