Hype dress / Shu Sole shoes / Neff beanie
Some fun and cheesey shots I did recently with Daniel at his high school. Yes, I was definitely on cheer in my senior year of high school! (Actually, it was varsity song) Being on a high school campus was so nostalgic. High school was so long ago. I definitely felt extra old. I loved how appropriate this dress was for these photos. I'm wearing a fun, comfy, sporty & colorful dress by Hype. I love their use of colors and prints in their line. They have so many cute pieces for the not-so-basic chick. I dressed this a little girly with some cleated heels from Shu Sole and a coloful beanie by Neff Headwear. Check out more goods from Hype here!

AKA top / BCBG Max Azria leggings / Zero UV sunnies / Lola Shoetique shoes
Stepping a bit out of my element with this look. When putting an outfit together, I definitely love changing up my style from time to time. I like to think of myself as a chameleon of sorts. This oversized shirt from AKA just really caught my eye. It's not something I'd normally pick out, but the crazy marbling print just stood out to me. It's really eye-catching. I also love the fit. Over-sized anything always has a place in my closet. Kept the look dark and sleek with some extra black leggings I picked up at a BCBG sample sale a few years ago (when I used to intern there). Also, some extra black sunnies and bad-ass booties. This is actually the first year I've ever been excited to shop and dress for fall.

Missguided dress / Forever 21 hat / YRU shoes

It's officially Fall! So happy it's cooler now. I feel like I must have lost 5 pounds from sweating for a week straight. What a perfect time to post this look I shot for Missguided. I love their label. I've been following them for some time now and was so ecstatic when they contacted me. They asked me to style some looks from their Carnaby Girl trend which is inspired by elements from the 60s. You can definitely feel it in all the eclectic prints and silhouettes. I chose this cute oversized babydoll dress. I've definitely always been a dress lover and this particular piece is perfect for transitioning into fall. I paired the look with a fedora from Forever 21 and these amazing booties by YRU. You can check out more amazing pieces from the Missguided Carnaby Girl trend here!

Motel Rocks dress via BKRM / YRU shoes

What a gloomy weekend in Huntington Beach! I'm currently blogging from a beach house and celebrating my brother's birthday. He's not my real brother but he's been with my sister for 15 years so he kind of is. It's super cloudy, but I'm not gonna complain. It's nice and cool and I'm so happy the heat wave has died down. Here's a look I shot for BKRM. They sent me this pretty little paisley dress by Motel. Sometimes I like to get in touch with my girly side and wear pretty baby colors and whatnot. I've also grown to love anything paisley recently, so this dress is perfect. We shot these in Daniel's beautiful home. I kept the look pretty simple and light. Paired with some sky high YRU shoes and kept the color palette light. I've always been into dresses. I love getting to feel feminine some days and switch it up the next. Thank you BKRM! Tiger Mist jumper / Forever 21 skirt / Shu Sole shoes
SUGAR!! Super obsessed with this outfit. I've been putting off writing about this one because well, it's only been about 108 degrees here in LA. But I've waited long enough and it must be blogged. I received this jumper from Tiger Mist not too long ago. It's extra cute and comfy. I've come to really love anything over-sized. I paired it with this fun peplum skirt I picked up from Forever 21 a few months ago. This is actually my first time wearing it. Finished off the blvck and white look with some chunky cleated heels from Shu Sole and voila. A look transitioning into Fall, I suppose. Even though this heat wave is preventing me from wearing this jumper anywhere. I'm really hoping the weather chills out in the next few days. I'm so over the sweaty life.

Little Blvck Dress.

AKA dress / ZeroUV sunnies / Jessica Fang jewelry / Lola Shoetique shoes
Photos by Ryan Chua (@ryanbyryanchua)

You can never have too many blvck dresses. I'm really loving this one by AKA. I can't even count with one hand all the reasons I'm attracted to this dress. The criss-cross straps, the loose fit, the double slits, the low-cut back, the sheer maxi layer with the mini inner layer. All the details make this LBD pretty much perfect. This look was fun to shoot. Ryan asked me to strut and I'm pretty happy that he was able to capture a good photo me looking decent as I was walking in action. I wanted to dress this up with some fancy jewels and my favorite strappy stilettos which were just recently restocked! This is definitely a good outfit for a date night.

Kerol D kimono / Pylo shorts / Lola Shoetique shoes

So sad the weekend is over. I had such an amazing time! I was pretty busy most of last week prepping for my closet sale with ZooShoo. It was excruciatingly hot, but over all it was a good experience and a pretty successful sale. Thanks to everyone who made it out and stood in line in the blazing heat! For those of you who didn't make it, Ellen and I will be selling the rest of our stuff online. I'll keep you guys posted! Here's an awesome set I shot with Daniel. We risked our lives climbing to the top of a building for these photos. Just kidding, we didnt. But I love how he was able to capture LA in the back. This is a more festival look. This kimono has been all over my feed lately. I can see why everyone loves it. The fringe detailing is flawless. So happy I got my hands on one thanks to Dietch! I paired it with these fiesty shorts from Pylo c/o Jill Wallace. Topped it off with my favorite fedora and these booties I call my "HBIC" boots. Don't forget to use code "FLAMCIS" for 15% off at Lola Shoetique

Tiger Mist top / LuLu*s skirt / Shu Sole shoes / LYDC bag
Photos by Ryan Chua (@ryanbyryanchua)

Man what a weekend! Got to go to Nocturnal Wonderland sponsored by Insomniac & YRU. Had a blast, but I'm still feeling pretty tired. Currently at the DMV sitting on the ground and blogging through my phone. What better way to make the time pass? Here's a colorful look I put together featuring Tiger Mist. I've been following them on Instagram for a while now and have always been in love. I was so ecstatic when I got to meet one of the owners, Alana, and the executive assistant, Jade, at Agenda Long Beach a few months back. They are the sweetest Aussies and have the cutest accents! Anyway, I'm infatuated with this top they sent me. Combined with my hair, it looks like cotton candy! I'm also loving the soft and fuzzy fabric. Good for transitioning into fall weather (although it's still blazing hot here in LA). Paired it with a white skater skirt, some white cleated heels from Shu Sole and a pretty holographic bag from LYDC. Go check out the amazing fits over at Tiger Mist here and more gorgrous handbags from LYDC here!

Itsit romper / T.U.K. Footwear shoes / Sway Chic backpack

In honor of back to school week, here's a cute look I shot with Daniel. I've been pretty obsessed with this romper from Itsit. It's the prettiest lacey thing. I know we're going through a serious drought here in Cali, but one thing I'm extremely happy about is that the weather is still warm. Meaning I can wear this romper for another 2 months, haha! But really though, one thing I do love about rompers is that you don't need to spend any time finding a top and a bottom to match. It's all one piece! I wore this romper to Beauty Con with some strappy heels, but this time I wanted to dress it down. Paired it with these rad T.U.K. boots and also this lucite black backpack which has been my life. Good luck to all the kiddos heading back to school!

O'neill dress / Lola Shoetique shoes

I don't own a lot of light and flowy dresses so when I saw this one on the O'neill site, I just had to have it. It's soft and comfy, and is the perfect summer dress. I love the subtle high-low length and the crochet panel on the chest. If I went to the beach, which I rarely do, I'd definitely wear this as a cover-up. Anyway, O'neill is running a contest that ends at the end of this week. Win your ulitimate "perfect day". Follow @OneillWomens on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and take a photo showing us why #todayisperfect to enter. One grand prize winner receives their idea of the "perfect day". Hurry! Contest ends 9/5!

Living Doll top / Vibrant M.I.U shorts / Ali Express shoes

So not ready for summer to come to an end. Here's a fun look I shot with Ryan in Long Beach this past weekend. I was sent this top by Living Doll LA. It's uber cute! Not long before I received this, I was lusting over men's short-sleeved button downs from Ezekiel. I love how they look on girls. A little bit boxy & boyish but extremely cute. This one in particular really caught my eye. The pretty mix of blues and orange is a mix of colors I lack in my closet. I left the last two buttons undone and tied it up to give it my personal, girly, touch. Paired with some light high waisted shorts and these cute white sandals I found on Ali Express! Go check out more cute goodies from Living Doll here!
